Crypto Cards: 2026 Comparison of Fees and Cashback

Compare the real cost, how they work and the access conditions of crypto cards.

Our No. 1 KYC crypto card is the OKX Card: a virtual Mastercard linked to OKX Pay, with no issuance or annual fees, a 0.1% spread and 2% cashback (non-VIP) on USDG payments, capped each month. It only pays from stablecoins (USDC, USDG).

Next come EtherFi Cash, RedotPay, Krak (Kraken) and Gnosis Pay. We compare the real cost (issuance, subscription, spread, currency exchange, withdrawals), cashback, limits and custody of funds: an account with the provider or a personal wallet.

How to choose a crypto card

The real cost
Fees hide in everyday use: a spread on every payment, plus currency exchange, top-up and ATM withdrawal fees. A spread of a few percent weighs more than an annual subscription.
Cashback and its conditions
Cashback often depends on your balance, tier or the asset used: at Krak, 0 to 2% depending on the average balance over 30 days; at OKX, on USDG payments, with a monthly cap.
Custody of funds
A custodial card spends a balance held by the provider; a self-custody card such as MetaMask Card or Gnosis Pay spends from your own wallet.
Debit or credit
The credit mode of Nexo or EtherFi Cash is a loan backed by your crypto, with a risk of liquidation.
Countries and KYC
All the cards on this page require identity verification, and the list of eligible countries varies: check it before ordering.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best crypto card?

In our ranking, the OKX Card comes first for its fees (€0 issuance, no annual fees, 0.1% spread) and its cashback in USDG. To spend from your own wallet, look at Gnosis Pay or MetaMask Card instead.

Custodial or self-custody crypto card: what is the difference?

With a custodial card, your funds are held by the provider, which can freeze them. With a self-custody card, you spend from your wallet through payment authorizations: you stay in control, but the card still requires KYC.

Does a crypto card have hidden fees?

Often in the spread: Krak shows no transaction fees, but a spread is included in the selling price of crypto. Also check currency exchange, top-up and ATM withdrawal fees.

Is a crypto card's cashback guaranteed?

No. It depends on your balance, loyalty tier or the asset used, and it is often capped. Do not treat it as a guaranteed return.
